It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to MGM Medical College Panvel, a temple of learning, service, and innovation in the field of Medicine.

As a future doctor, you carry the responsibility of healing lives, upholding ethics, and advancing the science of healthcare. At our MGMMC-Panvel, we aim not only to impart knowledge but also to nurture compassion, discipline, and integrity in every student.

At MGMMC Panvel, we take immense pride in the quality and dedication of our faculty. They are highly qualified professionals with vast clinical, academic, and research experience. They have contributed significantly to medical education, policy making, and public health initiatives.

Regular faculty development programmes, CME sessions, research workshops, and collaborative training ensure they remain updated with the latest advancements in medicine. With a strong focus on interactive teaching, ethical practices, and patient-centred care, our faculty plays a pivotal role in shaping competent, compassionate, and globally competent medical professionals.

MGMMC Panvel is supported by a state-of-the-art teaching hospital at Kalamboli, offering a wide range of clinical and diagnostic services to support hands-on training for students and quality care for patients. Our hospital serves a diverse population, providing exposure to varied medical and surgical cases essential for comprehensive learning.

The key services offered at our Kalamboli hospital include outpatient and inpatient services, fully equipped wards with 24-hour medical and nursing care, and modern modular OTs with advanced anaesthesia and surgical equipment for general, laparoscopic, gynaecological, orthopaedic, and emergency services.

There is a fully functional casualty department with triage, ICUs, NICU, and high dependency units for critical care management. Standard pathology, microbiology, and biochemistry labs cater to specialized tests including histopathology and molecular diagnostics. Digital X-ray, ultrasonography, CT scans, and MRI facilities are integrated with PACS. A licensed blood bank with component separation and emergency transfusion services is also available.

These services not only provide healthcare to the community but also ensure that students gain practical knowledge through active clinical exposure, alongside learning under expert supervision.

Here at MGMMC-Panvel, our vision and mission are at the forefront, with clearly defined, inspiring, and professionally crafted statements that reflect MGM-IHS core values, academic goals, and a commitment to service. Our vision is to be a centre of excellence in medical education, research, and compassionate healthcare. Our mission is to nurture competent, ethical, and empathetic healthcare professionals through holistic education and community service.

The Research and Innovation wing encourages UG research projects, faculty clinical trials, ICMR-STS Projects, and conducts regular CMEs, workshops, and seminars. The Skills and Simulation Lab houses dummy models for CPR, suturing, obstetric emergencies, etc., and includes virtual anatomy dissection software and emergency training modules.

We have a strong digital infrastructure, including Smart Library classrooms, e-learning portals, digital library access (e.g., Shodhsindhu, PubMed, ClinicalKey), biometric attendance, and student performance tracking. Community outreach programmes such as RHTC, UHTC, health camps, and maternal and child health outreach are actively pursued.

Student support systems include Mentorship Programs, an Anti-Ragging Committee, Student Counselling & Psychological Support, and a Career Guiding Cell (for PG NEET/USMLE preparation).

Well-furnished hostel and mess facilities, a Wi-Fi enabled campus, recreational amenities, gymnasium, 24x7 security, and medical care are also available.
