As a future doctor, you carry the responsibility of healing lives, up- holding the ethics and advancing the science of healthcare. At our MGMMC-Panvel we aim not only to impart knowledge but also to nurture compassion, discipline and integrity in every student.

At MGMMC Panvel, we take immense pride in the quality and dedication of our faculties. They are highly qualified professionals with vast clinical academic, and research experience. They have contributed significantly to medical education, policy making & public health initiatives.

Regular faculty development programmes, CME sessions, research workshops and collaborative training ensures they remain updated with latest advancement in medicine. Strong focus on interactive teaching, ethical practices and patient centred care, our faculty plays pivotal role in shaping competent, compassionate, and globally competent medical professionals.

MGMMC Panvel is supported by state-of-the-art teaching hospital at Kalamboli, having wide range of clinical and diagnostic services to support hands-on training for students and quality care for patients. Our hospital serves a diverse population, providing exposure to varied medical and surgical cases essential for comprehensive learning. The key services offered at our kalamboli hospital are outpatient and inpatient services fully equipped ward with 24 hours medical and nursing care. Modern modular OTs with advanced anaesthesia and surgical equipment for general, laparoscopic, gynaecological, orthopaedic and emergency services.

A fully functional casualty department with Triage, ICUs, NICU and high dependency Units for critical care management. Standard pathology, microbiology and biochemistry labs catering specialized test including histopathology and molecular diagnostics. Digital x-ray, ultrasonography, CT scans and MRI facilities integrated with PACS. Licensed blood bank with component separation and emergency transfusion services. This services not only provide health care to the community but also ensures that student gain practical knowledge through active clinical exposure, beside learning under expert supervision.

Here at MGMMC-Panvel the vision and mission are at forefront and include clear, inspiring and professionally crafted vision and mission statements to reflect MGM-IHS core values, academic goals, and service commitment to mankind. Vision is centre of excellence in medical education, research and compassionate health Care. Mission is to nurture competent, ethical and empathetic healthcare professionals through holistic education and community service. Research and innovation wing encourage UG-research projects, faculty-clinical trials ICMR-STS Projects - Regular CME/workshops/seminar. Skills and simulation lab have dummy models for CPR, suturing, obstetrics emergencies etc. virtual anatomy dissection software, emergency training modules are available.

Digital infrastructure is at place like Smart Library classroom, E-learning portals, digital library access (e.g.-Shodhsindhu, PubMed, clinical key) Biometric attendance & students performance tracking community outreach programme like RHTC, UHTC activities, health camps, maternal and child health outreach are existing. Student support systems like Mentorship Programs, Anti-ragging Committee, Student Counselling & Psychological Support, also Career Guiding Cell (for PGNEET/USMLE preparation) is existing.

Well-furnished hostel & mess facilities, Wi-Fi enabled campus, recreation, gymnasium, 24x7 hours security & medical care is available.

Alumni and career advancement help mentoring students, provide career talks and academic support and also job opportunities.

Approval from NMC/MGM-HIS for accreditation and affiliation of MGMMC-Panvel is there.

ROAD MAP FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS

Short term (less than 2 years) :

1. Focus on multidisciplinary and holistic education.
2. Develop rigorous academic programs and innovative teaching methodologies, equip students with the knowledge, skills and ethical principles necessary for medical practice.
3. To inculcate a vibrant research culture based on recent advances in medical sciences which can contribute to improved patient outcomes and can be translated into public health programs to help the community.
4. To have international collaborations through exchange programs and utilize the best practices in global healthcare.

MID term (3-5 years) :

1. Integrated UG and PG programmes in professional courses.
2. Widening the range of community courses with additional credits.
3. Focusing on family adoption programme for medical students
4. Offer ongoing professional development opportunities for faculty, staff and students, to enhance their skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities.
5. Pursue accreditation from regulatory bodies and uphold the highest standards of quality assurance in all aspects of academic and clinical operations.

The ultimate strategic objective is to establish this medical college as a centre of excellence in Medical education, Research and Healthcare delivery at Navi Mumbai with an international recognition.
